It reveals hidden relationships between affect, biological function, and economy β where milk without a mother and breath without a body become symbols of unclaimed care and forced productivity. Organisms exist here as points of intersection between industries and unreadable rationalities. The body, detached from its materiality in a utilitarian sense, undergoes a process of economization. Biological functions are intercepted and transformed into elements of the system of desires. The post-productive body becomes an operational unit, a figure in the network of reproduction, hope, disgust, and utility. The works depict abject waste left in spaces of animal exploitation β traces of constant exploitation that themselves become evidence of violence. At the same time, they reveal the entanglement of animals in industrial and urban landscapes, where their presence is subordinated to the logic of production and infrastructure, making them extensions of the functioning of these spaces. Drawing on materialist-biopolitical perspectives, the exhibition documents abject traces of industrial reproduction and speculates on the possibilities of creating new affective compositions β beyond the system that has long since taken over bodies.
