Mr. Feather's Academy is an unusual philosophical-artistic education where learning and art intermingle, and questions are often more important than answers. It's a space where reflection meets play, and children and adults together discover the meaning of everyday phenomena and emotions.
A well-known gentleman in a black bowler hat appears as the lecturer — ever curious about the world and people. During the meetings he tells stories about phenomena, values and emotions, which become the starting point for joint searches for answers to big questions.
There are also scientific experiments — those that let you discover how a magnet works, how a lightning forms, or where light comes from. Sometimes the audience watches the demonstration with interest, and sometimes they take part themselves, turning into little researchers and philosophers.
The most important things at the Academy are questions — those that surprise, inspire and open new perspectives. And who can ask better than children? Their ideas, reflections and answers are often full of imagination and surprising wisdom. The guiding theme of the meetings are stories that become a starting point for conversations about the values of the children's world — about friendship, courage, kindness and dreams.
