The Botanical Garden is not only about plants — it is, above all, about people. This exhibition reveals a less obvious side of the garden — the creative passions of its staff. After hours they write poetry, take photographs, weave, sew, crochet, and collect memorabilia connected to the history of this place.
We are delighted to present to you at the end of the season #ArtisticBotanical in the Garden a unique view of the people who care for the garden’s plant collections on a daily basis. After hours they develop their creative passions — from delicate sketches and poetic notes to light-filled photographs, hand-made or embroidered garments and everyday objects transformed into personal works.
We want to tell how sensitivity and creativity intertwine with our daily experience of working as a gardener, curator or director. The presented works grew out of passion and daily commitment, which makes them a unique testimony of the relationship between humans, nature and the creative gesture.
This exhibition pleases us all the more because exhibitions of botanical garden staff’s creativity are rare. They go beyond the classic narrative of galleries and museums, showing talents hidden among the institution’s employees. We hope that through this we show that creativity knows no bounds — what is created “after hours” often reveals the most personal and inspiring aspects of our human sensitivity.

A botanical garden is not only about plants — it is, above all, about people. This exhibition reveals a less obvious side of the garden: the creative passions of its staff. After working hours, they write poetry, take photographs, weave, sew, crochet, and collect memorabilia connected to the history of this place.
We are delighted to present, at the close of the winter season in the Botanical Garden, a unique perspective on the people who care for the garden’s plant collections on a daily basis. Beyond their professional responsibilities, they develop their creative interests — from delicate sketches and poetic notes to light-filled photographs, handcrafted or embroidered garments, and everyday objects transformed into deeply personal works.
Through this exhibition, we wish to reflect on how sensitivity and creativity intersect with the everyday experience of working as a gardener, curator, or director. The works on display emerge from passion and sustained commitment, forming a unique testimony to the relationship between people, nature, and the creative gesture.
