Spring reminds us to wake from winter sleep and to grow.
Therefore, on the first day of spring we invite you to a Women's Day about Growing, which will be a time of meeting among women with the Word of God and with everyday experience — on our ordinary, sometimes winding paths.
We want to pause on what growth is. We know it is not always easy. It involves effort, waiting, struggle, and sometimes the necessity of “dying away”.
In the light of the Word of God we will look at biblical images speaking about maturation and development.
During the meeting we will reach not only to the Bible — to listen to God's voice. A workshop portion will also help our reflection, to choose from the Bible Journaling method or the examen (skrutacja).
We will also draw inspiration from logotherapy, which helps find meaning even in what is demanding and unclear. It will be an invitation to look at one's own life with the question about the meaning of growth that happens amid daily duties, relationships and challenges.
The Women's Day about Growing will also be a time of sharing experience, attentive listening and drawing inspiration from the paths of other women.
We want to create a space in which each of us — regardless of age or status — can see that she is not alone in her process of growing.
