    The Department of Substantive Criminal Law at UKSW is honored to invite you to the 19th Bielany Criminal Law Colloquium entitled "Criminal Law and New Technologies" The conference will take place at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, in the Schuman Auditorium on the UKSW Campus at Wóycickiego Street, building 21. Conference agenda: - 10:00-10:10: Official opening of the conference - 10:10-10:30: Prof. Piotr Kardas, Jagiellonian University in Krakow – Attribution of perpetration in the face of new technologies – programmer, developer, software seller or end user? - 10:30-10:50: Dr. Agnieszka Gryszczyńska, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw – Legal, organizational and technical challenges of securing data and electronic evidence - 10:50-11:10: Prof. Marek Kulik, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin – Development of artificial intelligence and reinterpretation of the elements of prohibited acts described in the special part of criminal law - 11:10-11:30: Prof. Jarosław Majewski, Dr. Piotr Zakrzewski, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw – Protection of information and the need for changes in the special part of criminal law (selected issues) - 11:30-12:00: Coffee break - 12:00-12:20: Prof. Magdalena Budyn-Kulik, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin – Protection of minors and the development of social media in the perspective of the special part of criminal law - 12:20-12:40: Prof. Paweł Wiliński, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań – Effectiveness of prosecution for international law crimes related to the use of autonomous weapons - 12:40-13:00: Dr. Tomasz Kalisz, University of Wrocław – Big data, algorithms and artificial intelligence and adjudication of probationary measures in recognition and enforcement proceedings - 13:00-13:20: Dr. Adam Behan, Jagiellonian University in Krakow – Crypto-assets in the perspective of the special part of criminal law - 13:20: Lunch break - 14:30: Discussion - 16:30: Summary, closing of the conference ℹ️ ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION - The proceedings of the 19th Bielany Criminal Law Colloquium will take place on November 26, 2025, at the Faculty of Law and Administration in the Robert Schuman Auditorium located on the UKSW Campus named after Fr. Prof. Ryszard Rumianek at Wóycickiego 1/3, building 21 in Warsaw. 💰 - The conference fee is 290 PLN. This fee includes a coffee break and a two-course lunch. Each participant will also receive a participant package and a certificate of attendance. - Recipient details: Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Dewajtis 5, 01-815 Warsaw - Bank account: Santander Bank Polska S.A.: 81 1090 1014 0000 0001 2229 7627 - Transfer title: Criminal Law and New Technologies – conference fee and the name and surname of the person for whom the payment is made (e.g. Criminal Law and New Technologies – conference fee Jan Kowalski). In case of one payment for more than one person, please indicate this fact – specify the number of people covered by the payment and the entity making the payment, and, if possible, also add the names of the people covered by the payment (e.g. Criminal Law and New Technologies – conference fee for 5 people, District Court in Warsaw, Kowalski, Nowak). - Registration and payment deadline: from October 17, 2025 to November 17, 2025. 📝 - The condition for participation in the conference is filling out the electronic form available on the website and making the conference fee payment. - Registration form for Bielany Criminal Law Colloquium (registration started on October 17, 2025 and lasts until November 17, 2025): https://forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/responsepage.aspx - If making one payment for more than one person, each person should register separately. Please indicate the fact of making one payment for more than one person in the form by each time specifying the entity making the payment (e.g. entity making the payment – District Court in Warsaw). - If you wish to receive a VAT invoice, please provide the required data for its issuance in the electronic registration form and select the appropriate option in the form. The deadline for issuing the invoice is 7 days from the date the funds are credited to the University's account.
