Place: https://www.facebook.com/piwnabeczka/?locale=pl_PL Twenty-one years have passed since De Tazsos, Obibox, and Buzz Astral shared the stage in Warsaw's Aurora or at a DIY concert in Jawor's garage. No one rehearses in the garage in Siekierki anymore, Aurora has been closed for years, its surroundings overgrown with weeds, and of the three bands, two no longer exist, while the third has undergone several personal and stylistic revolutions. But this lineup of bands evokes a sentimental journey to the golden years of psychobilly, Punkt, Aurora, Kotły, countless shared drinks, and hours of conversations. Bombat Belus is, in a way, a continuation of Marysin's De Tazsos, though it has also undergone numerous personnel changes, a few years of romance with the double bass, and a return to the electro-bass guitar. The core of the band remains Patreze and Pomek, and a few months ago, Bartez joined the team, known from bands whose total number probably exceeds half a dozen, so let's just mention the rockabilly Monkey And The Baboons and the Siekiero-tribute Rany Kłutej. In a new lineup but in good old form, 666% psychobilly in rock’n’roll. Obibox started with psycho rockabilly but over these twenty-one years has sought new paths and ideas, exploring territories of alternative rock, garage, blues, and punk. From the old, and even slightly later lineup, only Przemek remains, who took over vocal duties from Trefny early on. Nubes Negras may not be a continuation of Buzz Astral, as the only connection between the groups is the rhythm guitarist, but oh well, let's say it is. With black metal drummer Maja in the lineup, vocalist Wrzosek, who can be found at Zamilska's techno one day and Napalm Death the next, lead guitarist Konrad Setzerowski, also known from Psycho Beets, and Pomek from Bombat Belus squeezing sounds from the double bass – can this fail? Of course, it can, and they'll make sure of it, combining their version of psychobilly with garage, metal, punk, and new wave.
