Attention was drawn to the role of consistent household habits, consequences, and behavior modeling by adults as the foundation for a child's safe presence in the digital environment. The need for balance between online and offline activities was highlighted, with particular emphasis on sleep, physical activity, and attention hygiene. The importance of dialogue and jointly agreed rules, appropriate to the child's age and regularly reviewed, was discussed. The conclusion was that relationships, consistency, and reflective parental attitudes shape digital safety more than control tools alone.
