For People to Console — Julian Tuwim in Songs

We invite you to a concert that will take you on an extraordinary musical journey through the work of Julian Tuwim — from love lyricism, through cabaret texts, to socially engaged pieces. The repertoire includes songs known from interpretations by Hanka Ordonówna, Ewa Demarczyk and Czesław Niemen, as well as pieces presented today with stronger, contemporary sounds. The audience will hear, among others:

• Miłość ci wszystko wybaczy
• Grande Valse Brillante
• Tomaszów
• Mimozami jesień się zaczyna
• Do prostego człowieka
• Chrystusa miasta

The concert forms a coherent whole — full of emotion, tension, moving moments and surprises.

Performers:

• Hanka and Paulina Napora – mother and daughter, two distinctive personalities with different temperaments and a shared sensitivity to words.
• Tomasz Wolak – several pieces; a vocalist appreciated for stage charisma and musical sensitivity, laureate of nationwide song festivals.

The vocalists are accompanied by excellent musicians:

• Jakub Kotarba – bass guitar
• Wiktor Kieszkowski – drums

Their arrangements allow both delicate lyricism and more dynamic, intense pieces to resonate.

“Ludziom na pocieszenie” is a concert for those seeking a genuine experience — an evening full of emotions, contrasts and meanings. It is offered both to lovers of classic Polish song and to listeners who want to discover Tuwim in a new light.
