    About the event

The Sports and Recreation Center of the Capital City of Warsaw in the Wola District and the Warsaw-Mazovian District Boxing Association invite you to 🥊 The 1st International Boxing Gala in Wola 📅 which will take place on November 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM at the "Reduta" Sports Hall at 37 Redutowa Street in Wola. It will be a unique celebration and festivity of Mazovian boxing. During the event, there will be an international boxing match between the team from Warsaw, Poland, and the team from Kaunas, Lithuania. It is worth noting that many of the athletes participating in the Warsaw – Kaunas match are currently preparing for the Polish U-17 Championships. For these young boxers, taking part in international competition is an extra motivation to work hard, as well as a valuable experience on their way to future successes on the national and international stage. The history of Mazovian boxing is the story of outstanding athletes and coaches, such as Olympic medalists Jerzy Kulej, Zbigniew Pietrzykowski, Kazimierz Paździor, or the legendary coach Feliks Stamm – the creator of the Polish boxing school, who trained generations of European, world, and Olympic champions. Their achievements have built the prestige of Polish boxing for decades and form the foundation on which the current generation of athletes relies. The match between athletes from Poland and Lithuania will not only be a prestigious sporting event but also one of the main highlights of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Mazovian boxing, combining a rich tradition with a new generation of athletes who continue the legacy of Warsaw and Mazovian boxing. Currently, the Warsaw-Mazovian District Boxing Association brings together 56 clubs from all over Mazovia, gathering nearly 600 athletes, of whom over 90% are children and youth. Every year, WMOZB organizes over 30 boxing events, promoting physical activity, fair play competition, and education through sport. ℹ️ In the coming days, we will inform you where and how you can collect invitations to the event. We invite you to share in the sporting excitement! ⏰ The "Reduta" Sports Hall opens from 4:00 PM Partners: - Wola District Office - City of Warsaw - LOTTO Foundation named after H. Konopacka
