We love experiencing and rediscovering the masterpiece by the Venetian master together. Children learn the melodies from The Four Seasons, discover curiosities about the music and about Vivaldi, get to know the instruments and have it all within reach.
We befriend classical masterpieces and initiate children into the musical world, helping them hear and understand music better. All of this happens in a joyful atmosphere of musical discoveries.
The concert lasts an hour and is full of developmental musical games for children.
Coming up:
Performers (full lineup for The Four Seasons):
Artists: concertmasters of the philharmonic and the opera.
Which concerts we will play:
Concerts for Little Ones 0-5 are LEVEL 1 of the Philharmonic for Children — shorter, gently guided and appropriate for the youngest. After the concert we of course play the instruments.
Concerts 2-7 and 4-12, besides listening, give children lots of musical knowledge and develop them through games and curiosities. Children learn music and become little music lovers. Concerts last an hour and are full of developmental musical games for musical education.
The Philharmonic for Children prepares concerts professionally, based on the best training, several decades of stage experience and hundreds of successfully realized concerts for children. The excellent reputation grew from over 200,000 delighted listeners visiting our concerts in the past decade.
MISSION:
Concerts of the Philharmonic for Children awaken creativity, introduce children to great music and art, gently bring them into the concert world and unobtrusively give children great musical knowledge. We train concentration, perception, social relations, support individual taste and the courage to express emotions. Children make progress in concert etiquette and have great fun doing it.
CREATOR OF THE CONCERTS:
Outstanding music pedagogue and multi-award-winning artist Anna Szarek (for children — beloved Mrs. Ania). Anna Szarek (wiolonczelistka)
At the concert:
Here children are close to the music — a red carpet awaits right by the stage and a few rows of chairs. Seats are unnumbered; we open the doors to the hall 20 minutes before the concert.
After the concert:
Everyone can try themselves — children play, try and look at the instruments under the artists' supervision. This has been our tradition for 10 years.
