Do you know which films were shot in your area? Why artists traveled around Warsaw in water trucks and where famous actors lived? Find out and set off on a journey following the film reel’s trail.
We invite you to a lecture combined with a multimedia presentation during which we will discover Warsaw as a film set and a space of constant change. We will see how the city has transformed over the years.
The meeting will be led by Mateusz Pasternak — a psychologist by training, a historian by passion, a researcher of Warsaw’s history, Polish film, art and popular culture. For many years he has worked professionally and as a hobby on history, constantly reaching for books, archives and documents, as well as talking with artists and protagonists of past events. He is the author of press and online articles, an organizer of lectures and the designer and guide of historical tours around Warsaw.
This is an offer for lovers of cinema, history and Warsaw and for everyone who wants to discover the city from a completely new perspective.
We invite adults and youth 16+.
