We warmly invite you to the recruitment for the DOBLE FUEGO bachata choreographic group for couples! The group will be led by the one and only specialists of the Polish Bachata scene, Majka & Lucas! 📅 The recruitment will take place in the form of a regular class on 26.10 from 16:00-18:00 at Żelazna 59 (2nd floor). We’ll start with a warm-up, then you’ll learn a choreography, which you’ll dance at the end in smaller and larger groups. There will be partner rotations. After the recruitment, the list of accepted participants will be announced! What is a choreographic group? It’s a group whose training focuses on refining technique and creating a specific choreography based on body movement, partnerwork, and footwork. The choreography is developed by the instructors to a song of their choice. During the classes, we’ll also work on your self-confidence and stage presence! A choreo group is above all about people, trips, shows, and great fun! TRAININGS will take place as sessions on two Sundays each month. Trainings will last 3 hours (14:30-17:30). Below are the scheduled session dates: - 09.11 - 30.11 - 07.12 - 21.12 - 04.01 - 11.01 - 01.02 - 08.02 The remaining dates will be set with the group after recruitment. Who is the choreo group for? - for Bachateros at least at S1 level, who feel confident in longer combinations and have mastered body movement (tree, waves, snakes, etc.), - for people who like the stage and the spotlight, - for those who want to develop in Bachata, - for those who want to feel a thrill of excitement, - for those who dream of joint trips/festivals! SHOWS After mastering the choreography, we plan to sew/buy show costumes. The culmination of our work and success will be performances at dance parties and festivals in Poland and abroad, as well as participation in competitions. Your instructors, Majka and Łukasz, have repeatedly performed at tournaments of two federations: International Dance Organization and World Artistic Dance Federation. They can boast several titles won at national and international tournaments. Majka and Łukasz are Polish Champions in the Bachata couples category WADF 2021, 2023, 2024, as well as World Vice-Champions WADF 2021, 2024.
