This year, six people from Ukraine and eight from Poland participated in the two-week open-air workshop. Works were also sent by Dmytro Horditsa from Kyiv, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and could not come to Poland, and Michał Płoski from Kielce. The exhibition presents the results of last year's and this year's open-air workshops, which cover three themes related to the Mystery of the Incarnation, in which God reveals His Love: - Annunciation - Visitation of St. Elizabeth - Birth of Jesus Christ The Annunciation is the first moment of such great closeness between God and man. Through the words of St. Elizabeth, the reality of the Mystery of the Incarnation is revealed to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who responds by singing the beautiful hymn of thanksgiving – Magnificat. The Birth of Christ is a revelation, whose participants, besides Mary and Joseph, are shepherds and wise men, symbolizing the whole world awaiting the Messiah. In a broader sense, all people are participants in this revelation, who from that moment can truly touch the Mystery of the Incarnation. The open-air meetings of Polish and Ukrainian artists engaged in sacred art are part of the initiative of Political Theology "Paint Catholicism Anew," which aims to renew sacred art in the Western Church. The workshops have a charitable dimension. Works created during the open-air workshops supported by the Dobry Grunt Foundation and the Ukrainian KIK Action are then presented at exhibitions and ultimately sold at auctions, the proceeds of which fund respite camps for children and wives of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, organized by the Ukrainian KIK Action.
