Ceramics workshops for adults. No experience needed, I will teach you everything from scratch. I especially invite those who have always wanted to try but think they lack so-called "artistic skills." You'll find out that's not true! 🕒 Single classes last 3 hours, during which you'll have time to shape a piece like a cup, bowl, candle holder, etc., and paint and decorate it. The cost of participation in such classes is 150 PLN. Afterward, the piece needs to dry (approx. 10-14 days), and after about 2 weeks, it is fired for the first time (this firing is included in the class fee). After the first firing, it is ready for glazing with clear glaze. You can come a second time to glaze it yourself (this won't take more than half an hour), or I can glaze it for you. After glazing, the piece is fired a second time, this time at a temperature of 1150-1170 degrees. This second firing with glaze costs 50 PLN. 💰 So, the total fee from shaping to picking up the glazed piece is 200 PLN. 🎟️ If after the first class you want to shape more pieces, it's worth purchasing a pass for 4 sessions. The pass costs 450 PLN, meaning 1 session is free. The pass is valid for 2 months and has no additional fees. During these 4 sessions, you will learn various shaping and decorating methods. 📌 Important: prepayment is required for single classes. We knead, touch, and feel with our fingers. We shape using the traditional coil method. It requires some patience but also brings a lot of joy, while calming and de-stressing like meditation. We are here and now. - Prepare for creativity. We use basic tools and materials. We shape with red or white clay, paint with natural slips and clear glaze. We embrace ingenuity and test the principle "less is more." - Prepare for a slow process. Classes last three hours, and this is time just for you. It's enough to shape a neat piece, bowl, or vase. We work in a small group of a few people; I want to give everyone as much attention as they need. I encourage focusing on details and mindfulness. Clay rewards this with wonderful results. Every piece is unique. - Prepare for beautiful imperfection. Clay – like people – has its moods; not everything can be predicted. And that's great! Mistakes and accidents lead to the best discoveries. We will experiment and innovate. My name is Agnieszka Berlińska, I have been working with ceramics for over twenty years, and for the past two years, I have been running workshops. And I love it. I value minimalism, the Japanese wabi-sabi style, and the Japanese approach to beauty. Nature inspires me – I know it sounds cliché, but it really is true. I am fascinated by the textures of tree bark, veins on leaves, shapes of stones, clouds in the sky... Ceramics is my gateway to escape the hustle and bustle of the city into the world of nature. I love experimenting. I work in various techniques – I shape with coils but also throw on the wheel. Working with clay never bores me. I have many ideas waiting to be realized. My works can be viewed on Instagram, although I am not very diligent in posting new reels. I prefer to spend that time with clay. My IG profile: https://instagram.com/brln_studio Welcome!
