Drag performerx, are you ready?!

“Okay, I'll knock — and you say it.”

On May 9, 2026 at Slay Space in Kraków the 6th edition of CRACOW DRAG ARTIST CONTEST - the most exciting contest for drag performers in Poland - will take place.

NEW FORMAT

Developed by Captain Judy Chersand and the brightest minds of the Commission for Clownery, for the first time in the contest’s history performers will appear not individually but IN DUOS.

Cracow Drag Artist Contest - "But I want to compete with my friend!" - The biggest drag art contest in Poland now appears in a completely new format where participants will compete not individually but in pairs. We welcome mothers with daughters, sisters, brothers, drag houses, couples and informal duos.

• STAGES:
• I STAGE — TALENT SHOW: each duo has 5 minutes to present any performance on our stage (comedy sketch, lipsync battle, live harmonies, etc.). Every talent is A talent.
• II STAGE — FASHION CATWALK / FAMILY REALNESS EXTRAVAGANZA: on the catwalk each duo presents their best outfits and tells their story. Here look and strong storytelling matter.
• III STAGE — FINAL LIPSYNC BATTLE: after drawing songs each duo will decide which member will represent them in the battle. Each of the 4 pairs will perform two battles. The four official songs will be announced at least 20 days in advance. (The draw of pairs and songs will take place on stage after Stage II.)

There is no jury in our contest. The audience decides. Every guest will receive a voting card at entry and assign points to each duo. The duo with the highest number of points becomes the winner.

• PRIZES:
• 1st place — 2000 PLN in cash and naming a new drink on the Slay Space menu after the winning duo.
• 2nd place — a paid joint performance at the Surowiec club in Wrocław.

DRAG ARTIST CONTEST #6 will be hosted by Captain Judy Chersand. In April we will announce the 4 pairs that will compete for the crown and the title of the greatest duo in history.

• APPLICATIONS:
• Participation: adults performing as drag performerx applying in pairs ("duo").
• Deadline: send applications to eventyslay@gmail.com with the subject "DRAG ARTIST CONTEST" by April 5, 2026.
• The application should include:
• the duo name and description and social media links for both participants,
• character names and pronouns,
• photos for promotional purposes,
• a competition video presenting each performer (1–5 min, e.g. a mashup of performances).

• Ticket prices:
• VIP (front-row seating): 85 PLN
• Seated (bar stool): 70 PLN
• Standing:
• 1st Release: 30 PLN
• 2nd Release: 40 PLN
• At the door: 50 PLN

Each ticket includes a drink and entry to the afterparty. Afterparty entry after midnight: 20 PLN
