Wawerskie Centrum Kultury Radość branch and the Public Library in the Wawer district invite you to the Family Picnic "Lokomotywa Radości". The picnic is dedicated to the works of Julian Tuwim, a resident of Wawer. In the picnic program: - 🎭 15:30 - Children's play "Lokomotywa" by the Children's Theater for Children, performed by participants of theater classes based on the script and direction by Cezary Żołyński, inspired by Julian Tuwim's poems. The play references the Wawer railway and the time when Tuwim lived in Anin, all in a whimsical steampunk aesthetic. - 🎲 Games and animations for children: field game "Pociąg do Radości", animations "Rzepka" and tug-of-war, art workshops "Ptasie Radio". - 🖼️ Tuwim's room in an old-fashioned style and numerous stories about the poet, with the possibility of making buttons. - ⚙️ Historical-technological corner "Age of Steam and Locomotive" in steampunk style with collage workshops. - 🍭 Cotton candy, ice cream, lemonade. - 🎶 18:00 - Concert by the band AyAhuasca - moon rock covers from the 80s and 90s and original compositions. AyAhuasca is a band founded in 2020. Their music is a mix of raw guitar sounds and lyrics that remind us that life also comes with a solid dose of absurdity. In 2023, they debuted with the album "AMOR FATI", which draws listeners into the world of contemporary dilemmas – from the pursuit of popularity to eternally unrequited platonic love. This album proves that philosophy and rock can go hand in hand, though Nietzsche might be surprised. In 2024, their second album "Raporty z Księżyca" was released. It's a musical journey that takes listeners on a more intimate exploration of self, sprinkled with more asteroids and power. The band has performed in the Makakofonia program on AntyRadio, at the Wielki Ogień Festival in honor of Mira Kubasińska, Dymarki Świętokrzyskie, Zew się budzi Festival, and was the star of the evening at the Bodzentyn Days. WE WARMLY INVITE YOU Outdoor / free admission In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the event will take place indoors in the auditorium and art room.
