Performers: Emma Pilch (piano), Ae Ran Kim (soprano). The concert is a musical tale about passing, which does not mean an end, but transformation, about fleeting moments that, thanks to sound, remain in memory. The repertoire will include works by the greatest composers of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, showing how the theme of time, loss, and spiritual beauty has been interpreted in different cultures and languages. Italian, Korean, Czech, and Polish melodies will create a wide spectrum of moods – from intimate lyricism to dramatic expression. Music will become a bridge between the past and the present. The sensitivity of the Romantics will meet the modern language of 20th-century composers, who in their songs and arias continue to reflect on the human condition. The concert’s coherent dramaturgy – smooth transitions between pieces and subtle emotional contrasts – will create a space for focus and contemplation. "Not Everything Passes" is a concert for those who seek truth, silence, and light in music – for listeners ready to pause for a moment among sounds that do not fade away.
