In this year's edition of the project "Polish Theater Outside Poland in Poland," the discussion will feature the founders of original theaters in Scotland (Edinburgh) and the Netherlands (The Hague) - Pat Zajac and Hanna Grosfeld-Buda. 📅 Date: October 3, 5:30 PM 📍 Location: Theater Institute in Warsaw 🎟️ Free admission Expanding its mission to support Polish theaters and theater artists outside the Homeland, the Pomysłodalnia Foundation is implementing a three-year project "Polish Theater Outside Poland in Poland," funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund. In the first year of the project, one of the most active theaters operating abroad, the Polish Theater "Studio" in Vilnius, was invited to Poland. In Warsaw and Gdańsk, audiences had the opportunity to watch performances and films from June 19-21, 2023, and a mini-debate was held at the Theater Institute. In the second year of the project, three theaters were invited: - The Polish Stage of the Cieszyn Theater in Český Těšín - The Bajka Stage of the Cieszyn Theater in Český Těšín - Our Theater Chicago Performances and debates were held in Warsaw and Katowice. In the third edition, the following theaters will present their performances: - The Mirror of Stage Pat Zajac from Scotland - Buda Staging Performance from the Netherlands - Gdańsk Theater from Germany The debate on Polish theater outside the Homeland will take place at the Theater Institute.
