    About the event

Monuments are witnesses to Polish history. Many of these in Warsaw remember times and stories that we no longer recall. So, I invite you to a walk that will bring back the old days of Warsaw, curiosities, and interesting events. We will give the floor to, among others, Nicolaus Copernicus, Jesus from the Church of the Holy Cross, Father Twardowski, and Professor Zachwatowicz, who will tell us how he rebuilt the capital. I will also talk about legends associated with some monuments. 📍 Start: Nicolaus Copernicus Monument on Krakowskie Przedmieście. 📅 Date: 14.09.2025 ⏰ Time: 11:00 ⏳ Duration of the walk: about 1.5 hours The walk will be led by me – Aleksandra Wiak: a freshly minted Warsaw guide, graduate of Varsavian studies, and author of the Facebook and Instagram profile: Around the Capital and the World. Dear tour participant, There are countless ways to reward your guide. A smile, loud applause, kind words If you drop a few (or several) zlotys into the hat, it will be awesome.
