    About the event

We invite people working in community cultural centres to Teatr Ochota named after Halina and Jan Machulski for the first networking session this year as part of the Strengthening Warsaw Cultural Staff Program.

This is an invitation to long‑term partnership in building a new model of theatre — one that responds to the needs of the younger generation and opens new perspectives on what theatre can be.

    Topic:
From 2025 Teatr Ochoty is transforming into the first youth theatre in Poland — an institution that not only creates programs for young people, but develops them with and thanks to them. The theatre is to become a space between school and home — open to experiment, dialogue and co‑decision. Instead of a traditional repertoire model, TO is developing a processual, participatory and interdisciplinary ecosystem: mobile performances for 13–15 and 16–19 age groups, performative activities also in schools, a research program diagnosing young people’s needs, and artistic‑pedagogical projects created in cooperation with young people and teachers.
