The Wilanów Palace is the residence of a loving couple — one of the most famous in Polish history. Traces of that love are visible to this day; come and look for them with us. In the royal printing house, the word carried the weight of gold, and ink carried emotions stronger than time. Valentine's Day will be an occasion to set the old printing press in motion again. Reenactors will demonstrate how prints were made in the 17th century: from applying the ink to the moment when the press imprinted not only letters but also feelings onto paper. During the demonstrations we will print love letters — full of tenderness, longing and the elegance of an older language. It is a story of love recorded on paper at a time when every word was considered and a letter became an invaluable testament of feeling.
During the demonstration everyone will have the opportunity to print a letter themselves.
