On Sunday, 22 March 2026, the 22nd edition of the Kraków Marzanna Half Marathon will take place — one of the most recognizable spring road events in Poland.
Registrations will start on Monday, 24 November 2025 at 18:00 via the system. As usual, the half marathon will be accompanied by a shorter-distance run — the 11th Kraków Run with Distance “For Little Hearts” (5 km). There are 1,000 starter packages prepared for this run. A limited number of 4,000 starter packages is available for the half marathon.
“The 22nd edition of the Marzanna Half Marathon will be special for us. It is not only a beautiful sporting tradition, but also a moment in which we want to emphasize even more the role of running as a way to bring people together around important ideas. This edition will be truly exceptional,” announces Paweł Żyła, Race Director.
“We are preparing many surprises, both on the course and in the race village. We want everyone — regardless of distance — to feel that they are taking part in something more than just a run. It will be a true celebration of running and solidarity,” adds Paweł Żyła. This year’s edition will, as always, be a symbolic welcome to spring — participants will traditionally “chase away Marzanna” to jointly, in a sporting spirit, start the new running season. The race route will be exceptionally fast and flat, creating excellent conditions for setting personal bests. Certification from the Polish Athletic Association, minimal elevation changes and the spring atmosphere are intended to make the 22nd Kraków Marzanna Half Marathon one of the best half marathons in Poland for pursuing ambitious sporting goals. The event will also be an ideal opportunity to test form and prepare for the Cracovia Royal Marathon. For many runners the half marathon will become a key element of preparation for the royal distance and the first serious test before one of the country’s most important running events.
