- CAT – (English: Chief Adjudicating Team) the tournament’s substantive team made up of chief judges in positions: CA (Chief Adjudicator), DCA (Deputy Chief Adjudicator) and ACA (Assistant Chief Adjudicator).
- Equity Team – people responsible for upholding debating ethics and ensuring a comfortable atmosphere at the tournament.
- Team Cap – the maximum number of teams that can register for the tournament.
- Reg Fee – registration fee for tournament participants.
- Org comm – the organizing team responsible for coordinating the tournament.
- Novice – status granted to persons who simultaneously meet conditions: less than one year of debating + no Open break at PLD, MPDP or an international tournament.
