Szkoła Impro invites you to Course 0: ZERÓWKA, the first level at Szkoła Impro — you will learn the basics of theatrical improvisation (that is, creating a show without a script), spend your free time creatively, make new friends, boost your self-esteem, and learn to cooperate and work in a group. Theatrical improvisation has a so-called "low entry threshold," which means that anyone, regardless of skill, can enjoy these classes. There are no exams here, and instructors create a safe space where no one is judged. - Improvisation is a comedic art – who doesn't like to laugh and forget about daily duties? - Improvisation develops participants artistically. It is an attractive offer both for those dreaming of performing on stage and for those who just want to have fun. - But it also develops a range of skills useful in everyday life: listening, observing, cooperation, spontaneity, openness to new ideas and surprising situations, quick decision-making, empathy and trust in the group, giving and receiving support, silencing your inner critic, and self-confidence. WHAT ARE THE CLASSES LIKE? - Participants learn the rules of theatrical improvisation through group games and so-called short games. They also play their first improvised scenes. - They can experience firsthand how much joy comes from creating stories here and now, without prior ideas or directing. - The instructor, paying attention to each participant, ensures their comfort during the classes. - And at the end, something special — a show for friends, family, and the public.
