During the workshop I will help you take the first steps in the art of calligraphy written with a chisel nib.

You don’t need any experience — I will show everything from the basics.

In today’s world, such moments of slowing down are priceless.

In the workshop we will take on Gothic script (textura gothica), which despite its angular form has a lot of charm. Mastering this style will give you the foundations to explore other lettering forms. I will also talk about abstract calligraphy, so-called Calligraffitti.

Program

• Discussion of materials necessary for the work.
• Practicing the component elements of letters: from the simplest to the more difficult.
• Combining elements into a whole and writing your favorite words or the name of a loved one.

Materials

All necessary tools and materials are provided by the organizer. I will send interested participants an electronic version of the practice sheets by e-mail after the workshop for training at home.

Cost and registration

• Price: 150–250 zł (depending on how much you want to invest in your skills).
• The number of places is limited — to guarantee participation, a deposit of 50 zł must be paid.

Hi, my name is Artur. I am passionate about body painting, abstract painting, and I have been practicing calligraphy for over 5 years. I use calligraphy to paint pictures, decorate everyday objects, interior decorations and bodypainting. I invite you to Instagram.
