The artist debuted at age 16 at the 2nd Festival of Young Talents. She collaborated with the bands Czerwono-Czarni, ABC, Tarpany and Drumlersi. She began her solo career in 1972.
Halina Frąckowiak is one of the biggest stars of Polish popular music of the 1970s and 1980s. The singer recorded more than 20 albums and tapes, and her concerts took place in many parts of Europe as well as the United States and Canada. In 2005 she was awarded the “Zasłużony Kulturze — Gloria Artis” medal, granted by the Minister of Culture. Her work remains very popular and the artist has devoted fans.
