The artist made her debut at age 16 at the 2nd Festival of Young Talents. She worked with bands such as Czerwono-Czarni, ABC, Tarpany and Drumlersi. She began her solo career in 1972. Halina Frąckowiak is one of the biggest stars of Polish popular music of the ’70s and ’80s. The singer recorded over 20 albums and tapes, and her concerts took place in many parts of Europe as well as the United States and Canada. In 2005 she was awarded the “Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis” medal by the Minister of Culture. Her work remains popular and the artist still has devoted fans.
