They were one of the first bands from that somewhat younger prog-metal generation that redefined the genre. Instead of competing with solos and complicated rhythms they chose songs and unexpected melodies set against progressive forms. That made them great.
INTERVALS (Canada) — progressive metal, djent
They have never lacked heaviness and riffs chopped up so much your head spins, but also joy. Intervals play prog-metal djent as technically devilish as it is full of positive energy.
