Little Comic Makers. vol. 2 - series of art workshops for children

We invite you to art workshops that introduce the basics of creating short comic forms. Each session will be based on exercises introducing story building, character creation, and comic page layout. Participants will learn concepts related to comics, their language and form.

• Age: 7–9 years



• Dates: March 17, 24 and 31, 2026



• Time: 17:00–18:15 (75 min)



• Price for the entire cycle (3 meetings): 105 zł; for holders of the Young Varsovian Card: 95 zł



• Place: Lengrenówka – workshop of the Museum of Caricature, Brzozowa 6/8a, Warsaw



• Registration: mandatory by purchasing tickets



• Tickets: Bilety



• Limited number of places — decided by order of ticket purchase

Information for parents:

• Children may get dirty during classes with art materials.



• Parents and guardians will be given access to the workshop, where they can sit with a laptop, read comics from the library or rest.

Instructor: Joanna Rzepecka — illustrator, mural designer and text editor. She has experience working with children; she has run additional drawing classes in Warsaw primary schools. In her free time she works with ceramics, takes part in festivals, and occasionally creates short comic forms for zines. In her work she draws inspiration from nature, combining traditional techniques with digital ones.
