#2 RUN FOR FUN

About the event

This time, instead of Long Run, the second edition of RUN FOR FUN. This event combines different types of running activities: - Trail run - Scenic run - Street run - Run with uphill sections - Orienteering run All of this on the RUN FOR FUN route. Distance is secondary, as it's all about meeting up and having fun, but you'll run about 7.5 km. 📍 Where: Poniatówka Beach, Warsaw https://maps.app.goo.gl/ryQhAv3bSsmC8vsh7 🗓️ When: October 25, 2025 Event schedule: - 9:10 gathering - 9:20 warm-up - 9:30 start - 10:00 welcome at the finish line - 10:45 recovery party under Deposit: provided for the duration of training and run (pack your things in one bag or backpack). Toilets: public in the pavilion + portable toilets. Start near the National Stadium. The route leads along the Vistula riverside path towards Port Praski and the new footbridge over the Vistula. We'll run across it to the Vistula Boulevards, turning left from the bridge towards Port Czerniakowski. We pass it, running over a small bridge onto Czerniakowski Spit. Then an uphill section onto the path under the Łazienkowska Route. We cross the Vistula. On the Praga side, a sharp descent, then two right turns to return to the soft riverside trail. Then straight towards Poniatowski Bridge and the finish line. The route is partially marked. Limited spots available. For technical reasons, classification includes only the first 40 participants (but anyone can complete the distance).
