THE RULES ARE CHILD'S PLAY!

At the start the host deals cards randomly. Each of you takes on a role as a member of one of two factions. Two camps compete in the game:

• CITY – which during the day, through observation and night information, tries to track down and eliminate the mafia.
• MAFIA – which wakes at night and jointly decides who from the city won’t see the morning...

The game proceeds in two consecutive phases: DAY and NIGHT.

DAY PHASE

After dealing the cards the host orders the first night with the words: “City goes to sleep”. Everyone closes their eyes, regardless of faction.

NIGHT PHASE

Everyone keeps their eyes closed or covered. The host calls the characters in turn who use their powers:

• Doctor: saves one person.
• Cop: checks whether a chosen person is good or evil.
• Bartender: gets one person drunk, blocking their abilities.
• Mafia: jointly chooses one victim to eliminate.

When everyone has performed their actions, the host announces: “The city wakes up”.

DAY PHASE AGAIN

Everyone opens their eyes. The host reports on the night: announces who died (unless the doctor saved them) and which faction they belonged to. Then the city starts a discussion to identify suspects. After nominating a person you can:

• Check: find out if they are with the mafia.
• Kill: eliminate them from the game.

After voting the host again says: “City goes to sleep” and the cycle repeats.

END OF THE GAME

The game ends when:

• The city wins – by eliminating all mafia members.
• The mafia wins – when their number is equal to or greater than the number of remaining city residents.
