ENTER THE WORLD OF MOULIN ROUGE She appears on stage: Nini Legs-in-the-Air – the legendary courtesan, former star of the Moulin Rouge, who never allowed the shine of her fame to fade. She sits at her vanity in a dressing gown, cigarette in hand, surrounded by trinkets, feathers, and the dust of days gone by. Has her time passed? Maybe. But for Nini, this evening is a chance to evoke the old days once more, when Parisian nights were longer and stories full of promise. With an ironic smile, she throws provocative glances at the audience, inviting them to an evening in Paris, the kind you know only from movies and tales.
