At the special time of celebrating PRAGA BIRTHDAY 2026 we invite you to workshops connected to this year’s main theme — building relationships: friendship, love and closeness.
Each of our lives is a novel we do not write alone. We inherit worldviews, beliefs, interests, talents, weaknesses. We repeat family sayings. We keep objects, photos and recipes. During the workshop we will look at how the legacy we carry enriches and supports us emotionally. We will seek ways for intergenerational dialogue and bringing people closer together.
Please bring a photograph or a keepsake that is especially important to you and connects you with someone close.
Leading:
Dorota Raniszewska – coach and mentor, creator. She works based on uncovering personal and emotional meanings of photos and mindfulness in nature. What are Praga Birthdays?
16 years ago, quite grassroots, a group of activists and advocates initiated the tradition of celebrating the anniversary of granting Praga city rights. On 10 February 2026 it will be 378 years since King Władysław IV signed the so-called act of location!
In February, for the 378th Praga Birthday you can expect dozens of attractions: workshops, concerts, walks, dates, lectures, dances and revelry!
