Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Poland and worldwide. Most cases of breast cancer occur in women over the age of 50, but the disease can also affect younger women. Women, in caring for their health, should undergo regular mammography screenings every year or every two years, depending on their age and individual risk assessment for breast cancer (or its suspicion). Monthly breast self-examinations are also very important.
