About the event

ALEKSANDRA ROGALA. WELL-KNOWN AND BELOVED

WELL-KNOWN AND BELOVED is, after Portraits, the second installment of the exhibition at Lengrenówka, showing a small fragment of Aleksandra Rogala’s work — a draftsman and portraitist. Her economical line and sense of observation offer a fresh perspective on figures known from the media and cultural life.

Aleksandra Rogala, creating portraits based on photos found on the Internet, focuses on facial expressions and distinctive facial features. Sometimes she exaggerates selected elements, which many viewers have described as caricature in the common sense of the word — it’s the way the artist shows what matters to her.

The curator of the exhibition is Marcin Matuszewski.
