Take a breath. Don't react from a place of emotion. Set boundaries. Be consistent. This is what mothers of children—with ADHD, on the autism spectrum, with diagnoses—hear. Sometimes they have immense patience, sometimes only exhaustion. I am one of them. This text was created based on conversations with mothers similar to me. From our stories, I composed a tale—honest, raw, at times funny, or at least I hope so. Sometimes you have to talk about all this out loud—preferably in public. Karolina Pluta invites you to the finale of the project she is carrying out as part of the artistic scholarship of the City of Warsaw. Karolina Pluta is a theatre educator, coach, social artist, and performer. I conduct workshops, creative processes, and individual sessions. I am a specialist in preventing professional burnout, producing performances, and creating and implementing socio-artistic projects. I combine education with art. I am the mother of an eleven-year-old, with whom I am constantly learning to communicate. I permanently cooperate with the Association of Theatre Educators and the Culture Shock Foundation.
