Needlework Scratch Session ft. Miau Kru (sketch session) vol. 10

Scratch session for everyone who’s into scratching 😁 At each event, the first 2 hours are dedicated to workshops for beginners and for people who want to start their scratching journey. The workshops and scratch sessions will be led by Dj Crox and Dj Enix — friends of the NSC crew and graduates of the Spinlab Dj School, which is our partner.

There will be 4 scratch stations on site. We encourage you to bring your own systems and records for scratching 😉 For those who are starting — you don’t need to worry about records, we have everything!

Join a special event where music and graphics join forces! MIAU KRU (a women’s graffiti crew) invites you to a SKETCH SESSION where everyone — regardless of skill level — can feel like an urban creator.

Co będziemy robić:

• Tworzenie vlepek – zaprojektuj i stwórz swoje własne naklejki.
• Blackbooki – zostaw swój ślad w dwóch blackbookach, które będą pamiątką i inspiracją.
• Czas i przestrzeń na kreatywność – wyżyj się, wyluzuj i daj się ponieść.

We provide all materials and good vibes. Come alone or with your crew — what matters is the will to create together! Markers for the Sketch session are provided by POSCA.

Rules at scratch sessions (straight from Spinlab Dj School):

• 1️⃣ Have fun 😎
• 2️⃣ Set scratch sound on headphones, not so everyone can hear what’s on your record 🎧
• 3️⃣ We usually scratch for 8 bars, unless the session leader decides otherwise 🙂 If you don’t know what 8 bars is, ask — everyone will help. If your needle slips, handle it and keep scratching to the end so the next person comes in on time ⏳
• 4️⃣ Do not place drinks near the equipment.
• 5️⃣ Don’t shout over each other during the session. If you want to talk, do it so you don’t disturb those playing — there’s plenty of space in the club 🤫
• 6️⃣ If there are more people than stations, we follow the rule of 3 rounds — after three rounds ask the person next to you if they want to switch 😉
