About the event
Podoroж (Podoroż) means journey in Ukrainian. As guest-wanderers, we delve with curiosity into the musical space of traditional songs of our eastern neighbors. Our repertoire consists of polyphonic East Slavic songs, especially from various regions of Ukraine. We sing lyrical songs, ceremonial songs for all occasions of the year and life, secular and religious songs, carols, and psalms. We seek inspiration from teachers - ethnomusicologists, archival recordings, and traditional, unprocessed performances. Band members: - Amelia Pietroczuk - Ewa Karasińska - Ewa Mysza Starzyk - Andrzej Gołoś - Wójciak 🎟️ TICKET: 30 PLN payable on-site (cash or blik) The event is co-financed by the City of Warsaw as part of the Summer Stage of Chata Numinosum 2025 project.
