Neighborhood Seamstresses – Community Sewing School

About the event

During the summer, our machines were thoroughly cleaned and oiled, and they are ready for the return of the neighborhood seamstresses! We can't wait for your next sewing ideas. We invite everyone passionate about sewing. You can come with a project you're currently working on and finish it in pleasant company. You can get help from others if a detail is giving you trouble. We'll share knowledge and talk about sewing (and life). If you've never sewn before, come and see that a sewing machine doesn't bite. We'll show you how to start your sewing adventure, and you'll make your first attempts and get comfortable with the equipment. There will be 4 sewing machines available on-site, which we'll use rotationally. If you want, you can bring your own machine to the meeting.
