Speaker: Mgr Ewa Kuś-Wasilewska — a district court judge who has been adjudicating criminal cases for 16 years; previously a court probation officer and academic lecturer. Medical law has been among her interests since her studies; her master's thesis was on "Error in medical practice."

• 1. Introduction and legal basics – discussion of the legal bases of paramedics' liability, the role of the paramedic in the system, statistics concerning cases involving paramedics.
• 2. Criminal liability – analysis of criminal cases, preventive checklists.
