Are you looking for a school where children learn from curiosity rather than obligation?
Where relationships, safety and trust matter more than grades, and each child can develop at their own pace?
We invite you to an informational and recruitment meeting for parents, during which you will learn the idea and practice of our democratic school — a place where education becomes part of life, not a system of mandates.
During the three-hour meeting we will walk you through, step by step:
- 1. The idea of a democratic school
- What a democratic school is: the values and beliefs behind our way of working.
- Differences from the traditional education model; why we place the child, relationship and intrinsic motivation at the center.
- Freedom and responsibility as two pillars of our educational practice.
- 2. Everyday life at school
- What a day looks like, rituals and school spaces.
- Learning through experience, play, projects, conversations and relationships.
- Development of language, math, social and emotional skills at a natural pace.
- 3. Support for children with different needs
- How we support diversity and neurodiversity.
- Combining mindfulness, an individual approach and a sense of safety with learning co-responsibility and self-regulation.
- 4. The role of parents and cooperation between the school and the team
- Cooperation with parents: a democratic school as a community, not an institution to which you “give” your child.
- Ways of communicating, building trust and opportunities for parents to help co-create the school’s space.
- 5. The recruitment process
- The recruitment procedure step by step.
- Conversations with parents, introductory days and criteria for admission decisions.
- 6. Time for questions and conversation
- Space for reflection and questions; the meeting is a conversation, not a lecture.

Monika Wrzosek – leader of the democratic school, accompanying children, parents and the team in building an environment based on trust, safety and freedom.
