The band's name is the title of the first episode of David Lynch's series ‘Twin Peaks’, which serves as a non-musical inspiration for the band members. From the very beginning, the band has tried not to confine itself to a single musical genre. Their music is a mixture of very different sounds, drawn from post-metal and post-rock, or industrial, but also from broadly understood alternative, even touching on trip-hop. By rejecting boundaries, their creativity escapes patterns, giving space to music and words. Traces to Nowhere's songs are above all heavy, multi-layered compositions enriched with melodic vocals. The band has released two EPs and two full-length albums: “Up to the Sun” (2018) and “Lost Tribe” (2024).
