Girls' and Boys' Sets — Dwie Siostry Bookshop
We invite children aged 8–12 to “Girls' and Boys' Sets”! These meetings in the series will support growing kids. We will focus on building self-confidence, talk about breaking stereotypes, and together look for strong, valuable role models, both in everyday life and in the world of literary characters. There will also be a solid dose of knowledge about corporeality and emotions. Children's and young adult books will guide us on this journey.
We aim to create a friendly space where no one judges, boxes others, or questions anyone’s worth. We want to support an environment full of positive and equal messages so that participants feel that all paths are for both girls and boys.

The body is like a map full of secrets and strengths. In the class we will discover what the body actually is and what it is for. We will talk about how it works, how it changes, what it feels, and how we can care for it.
We will also peek into the world of growing up: we will learn how our body prepares us to become older, wiser and more self-aware. We will talk about emotions, boundaries and closeness, and learn to ask questions and look for answers in a safe and curious way.
As a starting point we will use the books by Katharina von der Gathen and Anke Kuhl “Answer me! Children ask about intimate matters” and “From Head to Toe”. - 📅 February 7, Saturday, 12:00–13:30
