Workshops intended for people who have already taken the first steps in handmade jewelry making. The workshop will cover different types of findings and which type to choose for a specific kind of jewelry. Using this knowledge and acquired skills, we will make a pair of cascading earrings. We will learn one of the knotting techniques and tricks that help thread beads onto cords and jewelry threads. We will make a knotted bracelet on jewelry threads with crimps and a clasp. At the end we will learn how to make sliding knots, which are an alternative to metal clasps and can also serve as decorative elements in bracelets and necklaces. Using the skills gained, we will make a bracelet with a sliding knot and a handmade pendant.
During the class we provide all necessary tools and materials. After our workshop each participant will be able to repair old jewelry, remake long-unused necklaces and bracelets into completely new pieces, and create jewelry from scratch according to their own idea.
