CALLIGRAPHIC FREESTYLE – a Sunday morning with calligraphy

Is there anything better than a lazy Sunday morning with coffee and beautiful letters? There isn’t.

Hence the idea of CALLIGRAPHIC FREESTYLE — classes where you choose the style and I take care of the rest.

I invite everyone who’s a bit afraid of jumping into the deep end, meaning intensive Saturday calligraphy courses, or who hasn’t found their dream script in our schedule.

Each participant decides which script they will work on, lets me know a few days in advance, and I provide materials and tools. If you don’t know where to start — that’s fine too: I’ll gladly advise you!

During these classes everyone can write in a different hand. From my many years of observation, learning calligraphy is a very individual process and even during group sessions each person works at their own rhythm, which cannot be disturbed or sped up. Hence the idea of classes that are individual but at the same time group-based.

They have additional advantages — beyond learning beautiful writing:

• you can see live how learning other scripts looks, which helps plan your calligraphic development,
• we get the chance to meet not only beautiful letters but also great people (because it’s no secret that people who love calligraphy are unusual, intelligent and, broadly speaking, wonderful in many ways).

It’s hard to find more inspiring conditions for our calligraphic development.

Who are these classes for?

• for beginners and advanced,
• for those who would like to but are afraid,
• for those who write beautifully and those who write almost legibly,
• for those who want to learn a specific script but didn’t find it in the Saturday workshop schedule,
• for those whose dream class already took place and they couldn’t attend,
• for those returning to calligraphy after a break and needing a refresher on what goes with what,
• for those who have one beloved script and want to polish it under a specialist’s guidance.

Classes take place in my studio in Kraków’s Bielany.
Start at 10:00.
Duration: 4 hours.

Cost of participation:

• single class: 350 zł (for newsletter subscribers: 320 zł)
• family package (adult + person aged 12–18): 480 zł (for newsletter subscribers: 450 zł)
• 3-Sunday package for 1 person: 950 zł (for newsletter subscribers: 900 zł)
• 3-Sunday family package (adult + person aged 12–18): 1300 zł (for newsletter subscribers: 1250 zł)
• “Together is better” package (2 adults): 650 zł (for newsletter subscribers: 620 zł)
