You've probably heard that you should have an open posture, speak loudly and clearly, stand up straight, etc. But does self-presentation really have to look like this? Where is the room for empathy and individual differences? We invite you to practical self-presentation workshops! The tools you gain here can be useful both in stage-presentation situations and in everyday interactions with other people. After all, verbal communication is only a small fraction of the process of understanding and connecting with another person. All the more reason to make sure we use our full potential in this area! The idea of self-presentation and voice emission proposed in the workshop is not about pretending to be someone you are not, but about finding freedom in authenticity. So if you: - perform in front of others - lead meetings - have to give verbal reports on your activities - need to quickly convey precise messages - perform on stage (even with a microphone) - host events - engage in any form of theatrical or performative activities - often hear "What?" after you say something - are told you speak too quietly - after a day of talking a lot, feel your voice is "tired" - don't like how your voice sounds These workshops are for you! Additionally, they will help you if: - you feel that shyness prevents you from expressing yourself in social situations - you are paralyzed by stage fright in performance situations - you feel you have planned your speech perfectly, but in practice it doesn't go well. In the context of scripted acting and theatrical improvisation – if you sometimes don't know how to differentiate a character's voice, or you forget the specifics of its sound, you will also receive useful tools to help you work on this!
