Animal-Human "Patchworks"

We invite you to creative collage workshops inspired by the extraordinary world of Poor Things — the novel by Alasdair Gray and the film by Yorgos Lanthimos. We will immerse ourselves in an aesthetic full of hybrids, experiments and fantastic forms borrowed from modernist laboratories.

During the sessions we will create our own animal-human “patchworks”: figures combining different fragments, colors and textures, referring to a story in which body and identity are constantly changing. Each participant will leave with an original winter collage creature combining beauty, strangeness and a touch of humour — perfectly suited to the experimental atmosphere of Poor Things.

We provide all materials:

• old books
• textures
• coloured papers
• an envelope for the finished work

The workshop will be led by Maryna Siliakova @siliakova_m – a graphic designer and animator specializing in collage.
