Since 1945, the ensemble has continuously shaped the musical life of Częstochowa and the region. It has performed in many European countries and in South Korea, collaborating with outstanding soloists, including Krystian Zimerman, Kaja Danczowska, and Konstanty Andrzej Kulka. Since 2012, the orchestra has been led by Adam Klocek – conductor, cellist, and winner of the 2014 Grammy Award, who in 2020 also became director of the Bronisław Huberman Częstochowa Philharmonic. ________________________________________ Adam Klocek – conductor An outstanding Polish conductor and cellist, described by Krzysztof Penderecki as "one of the most promising conductors of the younger generation." A graduate of renowned music academies in Cologne and Berlin, he has performed with world-class artists, including Shlomo Mintz, Joshua Bell, Mischa Maisky, and Krzysztof Penderecki. In 2014, he won a Grammy Award for the album Night in Calisia, and his recordings and interpretations have been repeatedly recognized in Poland and abroad. ________________________________________ Częstochowa Philharmonic Choir "Collegium Cantorum" The ensemble was founded in 2012 by Janusz Siadlak, a renowned conductor and choirmaster, awarded the "Meritorious for Polish Culture" medal by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. The choir has performed throughout Europe, as well as in Argentina, China, and the USA. It is a laureate of many awards and carries out numerous recording and concert projects, including the album series Anthology of Polish A Cappella Works. ________________________________________ Janusz Siadlak – choir preparation Conductor, choirmaster, and lecturer, creator of numerous festivals and musical initiatives, including the International Bach Family Music Festival. Appreciated for his passion and commitment to the highest performance quality. ________________________________________ Soloists: - Agata Widera-Burda – soprano, soloist collaborating with many orchestras and musical theaters in Poland. - Li Linglin – alto, artist with a rich concert portfolio, known for her interpretations of sacred music. - Grzegorz Rogut – tenor, vocal competition laureate, performing in oratorio-cantata repertoire. - Michał Romanowski – baritone, soloist and educator, specializing in classical and contemporary music performance.
