Flamenco is not only music and dance — it is an art and a way of life, full of the energy of Andalusia. It speaks about matters natural and close to humans: joy, love, longing, death, pain. Flamenco music and dance convey both energy, strength and hope, as well as longing, suffering and faith.
Together we will move to beautiful Andalusia — full of celebration of life, the scent of orange blossoms and jasmine. Flamenco is made up of combined singing, dance and music. Flamenco dance is most often solo and includes elements of improvisation. During the classes we will learn different ways of expression to feel the richness of the flamenco world. In the first class we will learn tangos — a traditional style, with many variations, danced in a 4/4 rhythm.
