We invite you to a workshop with Anna Kaźmierak, author of ethnographic books for children. During the meeting we will practically follow the traces of old crafts from the book "Where are you, little rooster?". Together we will learn simple techniques and make unique decorations and everyday items inspired by Polish traditional culture. This is more than just a workshop — it is a journey to the roots.
About the instructor:
Anna Kaźmierak — illustrator and graphic designer, a fan of Polish folklore and cultural animator. In 2024 she was nominated for the Warsaw Literary Award in the Children's Literature category. She received the Most Beautiful Polish Book 2023 award in the PTWK Competition for the title "Where are you, little rooster?" and the Best Graphic Book of the Year 2020 Award from the Polish Section of IBBY for "Turonie, żandary, herody. Wiejska maskarada."
