About the event

On 18–20 February 2026, Prof. Heiner F. Klemme (Martin‑Luther‑Universität Halle‑Wittenberg) will visit the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. He specializes in Enlightenment philosophy with a particular emphasis on the works of Immanuel Kant and David Hume; in practical philosophy he focuses on ethics and philosophy of law. He is a leading expert on Kantian philosophy.



Prof. Klemme currently heads the Philosophy Seminar at the University of Halle. More information about his work and the chair



The open meeting includes a session dedicated to a joint reading of Immanuel Kant’s Metaphysik der Sitten.

  • The session will be conducted in German as part of the seminar “Philosophie und Kritik”; admission is open.
